I guess on this Fourth of July we can try to forget our differences but that is not so easy especially with all the name calling going on in our national election campaign and in our local letters to the editors. I have felt that this country is polarized on the issues and that neither side is listening to the other. Apparently some other people feel that way too as exemplified by this CBS News Poll.
