One more day and the campaigning will be over but the election will not as I fear that we will have a repeat of 2000, only worse. The lawyers for both sides are already waiting in the wings to take center stage. The one thing that is not being spoken of is the distinct possibility of the election going to the house. One poll I heard this morning on the radio had Bush at 49% with Kerry a couple of percentage points behind that. If that is the case and neither candidate receives the required 270 electoral votes, we will have the first election since 1824 decided by a vote in the House of Representatives. That year John Quincy Adams was the eventual winner.
