Americans have it fairly easy when it comes to dumping trash and recycling. I wonder what would happen if everything had to be sorted out into 20 or 30 categories according to size or type as is now being done in some cities in Japan. I think most people in this country would fail miserably. We also have the problem of homeless scavenging from re-cycling containers.
