I know I might be sticking my neck out on this one but would the appointment of Archbishop Levada of San Francisco by his buddy Benedict XVI to the same office that Cardinal Ratzinger held prior to his elevation to the papacy put Levada in line as a future candidate for pope? Apparently Levada's appointment is a "done deal" according to Time Magazine and Vatican sources. This is just a question, that is all. Just wild speculation on my part. Nothing more.
