A couple of good letters to the editor caught my attention this morning. One reader wrote: "If, as Christian broadcaster Pat Robertson suggested Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's stroke was divine punishment for "dividing God's land'' -- is Robertson's dementia also a divine punishment? If so, for what?"
Another reader gave the answer: "I believe Pat Robertson's insanity is God's punishment for a lifetime of sanctimonious hatred."
To which I say: A-men.
