I saw a headline in the SF Chronicle today that Bush has said that the war in Iraq has made us safer. How could anyone in their right mind make such an idiotic statement? How has it made us safer? We didn't get rid of Osama bin Laden, we didn't wipe out al Qaeda and we managed to push many moderates over the fence to a position of hating this country even more. How does that make us safer? We have only created additional enemies in the process of "liberating" Iraq.

I really think that man needs a complete psychiatric workup and that he should be impeached for unilaterally attacking a defenseless nation who presented no threat to us at all. Individuals present a threat and danger but they are everywhere. How do you invade individuals?
